Whisky Bar

The Whisky Bar is one of the west end’s most popular destinations, boasting over 280 malts. And you’re always guaranteed a traditional warm Scottish welcome in this cultural meeting place.

If you fancy a bite to eat our John Muir Room menu is available in the bar. Relax in its informal setting, ideal for breakfast, a bite of lunch, or dinner.

Soak up the vibrant evening atmosphere, mingling with people from all walks of life.

The bar is now open daily from 9am, serving alcohol from 11am (Sundays from 12.30pm).

And now there's even more reason to pay the bar a visit following the addition of talking point artwork installations.

Òran Mór Open Mic Night

Our open mic night has now moved upstairs from The Venue to the Main Bar.

Due to the amount of shows we now have downstairs it was difficult to fit in our open mic night so to make sure that it is on every week we have moved it up to the bar. The night will be held every Tuesday with Ross Clark from Three Blind Wolves hosting the night and playing a few songs himself. Anyone who goes up to play a song gets a free drink. The music will get started from about 9pm every week.

Òran Mór Quiz Night

Join our host Sandy Stevenson every Thursday from 9pm-11pm for the chance to win great prizes, including gig tickets, meal vouchers, wine, beer and more importantly, the weekly cash rollover jackpot! In association with Caledonian Breweries.
