Weddings at Òran Mór

Situated in the Heart of the West End of Glasgow, ÒranMór is a unique venue, licensed for a wedding ceremony, civil partnership, civil ceremony or reception. Within the converted church, the Auditorium and Gallery are both ideal for wedding cermonies and the Private Dining Room can be used for more inimtate wedding gatherings. From your initial inquiry through to the completion of your event, you will have one contact ensuring a personal and efficient service. We recognise that each wedding is unique with different requirements and, therefore, we offer complete flexibility including bespoke menus and an accommodating approach to any request.

Beneath the celestial ceiling mural by Alasdair Gray, one of Scotland’s largest pieces of public art, guests can enjoy the fine Scottish fodder and impeccable service which has put it on the map as one of Glasgow’s leading venues. It is an atmospheric room enhanced by the orginal pagan stained glass and, as well as retaining many of the original features of the church, offers a contemporary setting in which to hold events. Hire of the Auditorium also includes the use of the Gallery.

The facilities include private entrance, private bar, dedicated kitchen, disabled access, natural daylight and a stunning original architectural setting.
